This is my attempt at relieving my own debilitating lower back pain by trial and error. Trying to get relief from debilitating back pain. Have been trying a few things these passed two weeks to ease inflammation & pain. Off the bat, pillow between legs on firm couch laying on left or right side with ice pack helps most. Then Biofreeze cream, because it works better then alcohol & narcotic prescriptions. Some spices listed are good long-term for their Anti inflammatory properties. Inflammation causes pain, they help long term. “Most” of this you can buy on the shelf at Walmart. What’s here, from left to right….

IcyHot SmartRelief Tens Unit: Quick Fix – Slightly but better then nothing.
Tumeric Powder: Quick Fix – No.
Coconut Oil: Quick Fix – No, but use instead of butter from now on.
Bee Pollen: Quick Fix – No, but use instead of pepper & other nightshade foods from now on.
Yerba Mate: Quick Fix – No but use instead of Coffee or Tea.
Organic Mint Tea: Quick Fix – No.
Devil’s Claw: Quick Fix – Can’t mix with Ibuprofen, not sure yet, will update.
Poke Root Salve: Quick Fix – Slightly.
Urgent Care: Quick Fix – Nope. Pain stronger then narcotic & anti inflammatory prescriptions.
Arnica Deep Tissue Salve: Quick Fix – No.
Tennis Ball: Quick Fix – No, but helps to apply pressure to pain spot for standing up.
Jasper & Metaphysical Stones: Quick Fix – LOL. No.
Ginger Root: Quick Fix – Slightly. Good for drinking Ginger Water from boiling instead of Coffee or soda.
St John’s Wort from Perika: Quick Fix – No but great to relax muscles from continued use & doesn’t have issues with other prescription use. Perika is one of the strongest St John’s Wort supplements available.
Panaway Essential Oil: Quick Fix – No.
Biofreeze gel/cream: Quick Fix – YES !!!!!! Really works. God bless this stuff.
Bengay: Quick Fix – No.
Heat pad: Quick Fix – Slightly.
Ice Bag from Freezer: Quick Fix – Mostly. Remember, Cold is better then Hot for nerve pain.
Salonpas Heat Patches: Quick Fix – No.
Lidocaine Patches: Quick Fix – No.
Inversion Table: Quick Fix – No. Hurts more.
Motrin: Quick Fix – Slight relief after 20 minutes.
Hospital Grade Urine Bottle: Quick Fix – No, but helps when can’t get out of bed right away due to pain.
Walking Staff: Quick Fix – No but helps.
Massager: Quick Fix – Mostly.
Walking Cane: Quick Fix – No but helps.
Chiropractic Kinesiologist: Quick Fix – Mostly. Recovery process may be a week or so. I tried not taking off work but kept getting reinjury every day until seeking professional help. Biofreeze Cream is your best friend, it will do what Vicodine can’t.
